Whilst on holiday in the Lake District (and when I actually had signal), I saw many posts on social media about Yarndale. How I'd love to go to that, I thought.
Well it turns out we were not that far away. So with just a day's notice, I bought my ticket and booked my train journey home (hubby carried on home earlier in the day, as planned).
I was in a bunting framed cattle mart surrounded by like-minded folk of all ages and stalls full of yarn-y goodness. I was in woolly heaven.
Knitting, crochet, weaving, spinning, Little Box of Crochet (they were inundated with visitors) and the star attraction, Lucy from Attic24
Plus lots of sheep!
I loved my first visit to Yarndale and I came home with lots of cotton yarn, wool, buttons and crochet patterns.
If my husband asks ... I came home with just a sheep badge ...
